Palestinian people who continued to die under the genocidal assault carried out by uh the Israeli defense forc on the orders of not only Israeli political leaders but the United States uh you know that has said they back Israel 100% but it doesn't matter what you know that that Trudeau can't uh Mumble his way through certain words that the United States vetos a ceasefire resolution um all they're doing is cementing their own defeat Hamas has won this war it's it's over already uh I mean there's going to be a lot of fighting D I know people going what do you mean it's over the Israelis are still in Gaza they're still when Israel sets the bar of their Victory as the total elimination of Hamas politically and militarily they lost the war right there the moment they said that they lost the war because this is an unattainable objective meaning that anything that's that that's less than that means Hamas won by default but Hamas isn't just winning by default they're winning by beating the Israelis they're beating them on the ground uh in Gaza yeah I know Israel has some forces on the surface Hamas is running a mck below the ground and they're inflicting unbearable casualties on the Israelis more than a 100 dead but that's not the number you need to focus on you need to focus on the number of wounded uh by some counts over five th000 wounded 2,000 of whom are permanently disabled that means amputations paral paralysis guys that aren't returning to the fight ever um Israel is taking a beating a beating on the ground in Gaza and they're taking a beating politically because of this because they can't win this fight the world has turned against Israel the world has turned Israel's only hope is an American veto without that veto the intervention of not just the Secretary General through article 99 uh but the general assembly now through article 377 um you know the world is saying we're done with you Israel we demand a ceasefire and the longer Israel continues to refuse to allow this ceasefire the worse off their political defeat will be Benjamin denyah who's days are numbered the Biden Administration itself has turned against him saying that they they don't see a path towards conflict resolution with Netanyahu and his government in power Netanyahu is operating on 4% approval rating inside Israel so you know we we can play all the word games we want here you know who else is irrelevant I said Nikki Haley's irrelevant Justin Trudeau is irrelevant no one cares no one car no one cares what he thinks U because at the end of the day Hamas has won this war all Trudeau is doing is guaranteeing that the scope and scale of the Hamas Victory will be even greater because in addition to the world turning against Israel they're going to turn against those Nations that have Pro shown to be an impediment uh towards you know ending this genocidal assault on the people uh Scott I'm reading some headlines here um that I have actually never thought I would see uh uh headlines like this but you can see here even in the Red Bar above there it says displaced people killed point blank in Gaza School UN General Assembly overwhelmingly urges humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza Israel says 10 soldiers killed in Northern Gaza I mean it's just bad headlines all around when you look at uh you know the Israelis here and they're talking about flooding these uh you know flooding the whole entire region I mean that is I mean that's a crime in itself I mean how far how desperate is Israel going to get uh before they admit that uh they're not going to succeed and and I Echo your point there where you said they've already lost it uh definitely um from uh respect from the International Community there's no doubt about that but I mean flooding the region of Gaza is that mean if you think that Israel pumping saltwater into uh the tunnels is going to end this war then that means haven't been paying attention to what's been happening here um Hamas on October 7th launched an extraordinarily sophisticated and effective assault on the Gaza defense belt uh overwhelming the defenses slaughtering the Defenders uh penetrating the defensive barriers and closing in on well-defined objectives which were um attacked and in many cases captured um you know it wasn't just hostages that the uh uh that Hamas brought back into Gaza it was computer servers it was documents it was Tres of information about Israeli intelligence Israeli operations Israeli capabilities that Gaz that the Hamas has brought back um I bring this up because they this is an attack that was in planning for more than a year um it was executed very well and then Hamas fell defenses Hamas knows what Israel's capable of that Hamas knows that Israel will use bombs to attack the is the Palestinian population Hamas knows that eventually Israel have to go after the tunnels so when Hamas constructed these tunnels do you do you really think they said let's make them all connected so that if you find one and you pump salt waterer into it everybody drowns that's a good defensive tactic why don't we do that or could they have built tunnel systems that are Cellular in nature that can be cut off one another isolated so that if one cell is captured or disrupted it can be sealed off much like you do with a ship's compartments torpedo hits the ship you seal off the affected compartments flood them the ship stays aoat that's how the Hamas tunnel network has been designed and you know so the Israelis are just wasting their time you know there's some people who believe that they will further um you know destroy the the the an already extraordinarily saline aquafer uh in Gaza by doing this that has yet to be seen um I mean I I I don't doubt that outcome but I'm not going to predict the future on that but what I can say is that there's no way that Moss spent all this time and effort building a tunnel Network the solution to which is to Simply flood it with saltwater uh it's I I just don't believe that that what the Israelis are doing is going to have any meaningful impact on this battle it just shows the level of desperation that the Israelis are are at because they can't get into these tunnels they've tried they have special units of tunnel rats who've gotten down there and gotten slaughtered they tried to rescue a hostage the other day by going into the tunnels with Elite forces didn't end well for the elite forces and so rather than continue to bang their head against this wall they're now saying well we're going to pump salt water in but it isn't going to solve the problem hamas's tunnel network has been designed to withstand everything Israel can throw at it um could we compare it to maybe you know in Afghan Afghanistan when uh dealing in the tunnel systems there and the the caves that they were hiding a lot of artillery in in that region when the Americans were in there and you know there was a lot of uh real difficulties trying to penetrate uh you know the uh the Taliban in that area is is are we using kind of like a similar comparison here or is this a very complex tunnel system that something that like you said is built to withstand it and can even uh be fortified in a way that it could be detrimental to any soldiers going in there yeah I don't think we compare this to um you know anything in that that's come before it um the these tunnels are unique they've been around forever uh the tunnels have been around since the beginning of Gaza smuggling tunnels that were built um because Egypt sought to control uh Gaza by you know controlling entry and exit from the ruffa border crossing and so in order to survive the dug these very elaborate tunnels into Egypt U through which they've smuggled everything and these tunnels have been big enough to bring in vehicles um you know so we're talking extensive tun Egypt has done its best to detect them to interdict them and they have successfully interdicted hundreds of these tunnels but there's many more and they're still in play today um and then that tunnel Network and that that that that skill set associated with building it remember that from the very beginning the tunnels of from that have been constructed by the people of Gaza have been designed to avoid detection um to survive over a long period of time so they've they they know what they're doing when it comes to Tunnel construction Hamas is taking this over uh there's reason to believe that Hamas has been um Guided by Hezbollah uh who was Guided by the North Koreans uh who um provided assistance to Iran to put their government underground in case of War um and so you know the these tunnels are very deep um they're extensive um they're self you know they're they're rep repetitive so that if you lose one tunnel you don't lose a capability that's the same thing with if if you're running a smuggling operation and you make your living off of this you put all your eggs in one baskets I we just asked the drug cartels that smuggle things in across the southern Border in the United States they Ed tunnels extensive tunnels but each tunnel has a life expectancy when that tunnel shuts down another one opens up because they got to keep the product moving the same thing with the Smugglers uh in in in Gaza they got to keep the product moving they got to keep the supplies coming in so they don't just have one tunnel they've learned the concept of duplication of effort Hamas has taken that same mindset so there isn't one Command Center there's dozens of command centers that allow the Hamas leadership to move from point A to point B so that if you get a human infiltrator um and Israel had several of them um by the way they're all dead now because Hamas seized the human intelligence Direction Center uh that the Israelis had uh on the on the Gaza Strip and they collected the computers inside of which were the names of all the collaborators and uh it was a bad day for those collaborators the next day their bodies were found in the street executed um the the fate of all spies so you know Hamas you know understands that Israel is trying to penetrate uh to identify so you've got to protect against that you've got to say that if we're doing this here and it gets captured today or destroyed today how do we sustain our operations do we have a fall fallback command post that this command post didn't know about so if this is compromised these guys are here and and that's what they do they also you know have built it so you have this Logistics tunnel Network then you have a defensive tunnel Network built around that to defend it so if anybody's trying to come in they got to go through a defended then you have offensive tunnels separate from these that allow Hamas to carry out offensive operations um this is a very sophisticated um scheme that's been decades in the making this just didn't happen overnight this has been decades in the making is you know Hamas fought a tunnel war with Israel in 2014 when Israel went into the Gaza and they learned a lot of lessons about how Israel you know um goes into tun remember Hamas beat Israel Israel had to eventually withdraw in 2014 because they weren't successful in fully penetrating the tunnel network but they did penetrate some aspects of it so humas learned from that and they had nearly a decade to adapt and overcome and modify and that's the tunnel Network that's in place today and remember Hamas knew Israel was coming into Gaza that was the whole purpose of taking taking the hostages to suck Israel into a trap so Hamas has been preparing for exactly what's happening right now they've anticipated everything these guys are sophisticated these guys are good they know the Israelis better than the Israelis know themselves in many cases just ask the people who saw the intelligence documents carried by the Hamas assaulters on October 7th the schematics the maps with absolutely accurate intelligence about everything that was happening on the Israeli side um don't underestimate These Guys these aren't a bunch of you know sandal wearing local yals who are just sort of you know guying it through um haphazardly what Hamas is executing right now is one of the most sophisticated and well-planned operations in modern history Israel on the other hand had lost everything on October 7th everything all their intelligence was gone Hamas wiped the so Israel is now going into Gaza blind they have to create new intelligence um they which means that they have no intelligence I know I used to be an intelligence officer you don't create these networks overnight so instead they're relying on assessments and many of these assessments are emotionally driven assessments driven by Revenge uh not by operational necessity political pressure is being put on the IDF to exact a toll and so you can't find Hamas so the toll instead is exacted from the population and that's what's going on right now Collective punishment a genocidal likee Behavior by the Israelis towards the Palestinian people and let's just be honest this was all predictable meaning that Hamas knew this was going to happen Hamas I can't say wanted this to happen but they knew that this was going to happen and it was part of their strategy you see to defeat Israel isn't just about beating them in the tunnels um it's about beating them politically and since Hamas knew how Israel was going to respond Hamas now knew that the sacrifice of the Palestinian people would generate Global outrage to get the world to turn on Israel and that's happening right now as we speak yeah we we see that everywhere and um I've seen it you know after the Americans vetoed uh you know article 99 uh a lot of the news agencies is wellow we're seeing such a shift here you know quite a big shift uh where I'm quite surprised but they're coming in line here and they're all following this uh I guess I'm going to call it a new narrative where they're saying wait a minute um this looks pretty desperate what Israel is doing here this looks really unplanned uh you know just bombing everything H you know driving tanks uh you know in and out of Gaza how everybody wants to of of course know how does this deescalate but I'm want to ask you a question because you got a lot of experience in this how is this going to escalate who will escalate this if it needs to go up to another level here is it going to be Hezbollah I mean who who can go into that region and really say to Israel all right you guys have done some damage here uh nothing's happening in the United Nations to get any of these resolutions passed who has the ability to really escalate this well first of all we we have to put ourselves you know in in the Israeli shoes that is the shoes of those who are governing uh Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and his lud party um have from their very Inception politically said that a two-state solution um is never going to happen as long as they're in power they don't believe in a Palestinian State they believe in a eret Israel a greater Israel a Biblical Israel indeed it's the lud Charter dating back to 1977 that first articulates the notion of from the river to the sea but instead of Palestine will be free it's not a Palestinian there will be um to cleanse them and it's been difficult for um for Nyan lud to build a governing Coalition that uh has embraced uh this this outcome uh totally because they've had to make some compromises with moderates and Etc but the current governing Coalition of farri extreme parties uh has indeed uh embraced this vision of Israel erit Israel greater Israel biblical Israel um and so there can't be any deescalation so long as these political forces are in power in Israel um they're not going to give up they finally got a coalition that endorses the absolute Banning of a Palestinian and they don't want to give up power so that's why they're going to keep this war going as long as possible because while there's a war um there won't there seems to be a um a lack of enthusiasm on the part of the Israelis to seek political change you don't want to change horses in middle of the race uh so they want this war to end the Israeli people want it to end before they boot Netanyahu netanyahu's taking advantage that to drag out the war in hopes for a miraculous victory that causes the Israeli people to forget all of the sins of the past and so as long as Netanyahu is in power this war will escalate but there's a problem netan has a war cabinet um and in that war cabinet aren't just the radical right that empowers him politically it includes military professionals and the military professionals are telling him straight up we can't win in Gaza we're not going going to win in Gaza and moreover we have so many resources dedicated to Gaza that we can't win up north either if heah comes across we're in a world of hurt world of hurt means Israel could lose Northern Israel they could lose the Galilee region um and that's the last thing net the Netanyahu government wants or the military wants and so there are limits that are imposed by this reality on the Netanyahu government um and and and and that's you know we're in this dangerous dangerous uh period of time where um you know Netanyahu is being held back by his military saying we can't do that but he's pushing the military saying we need to have an outcome in Gaza that you know justifies everything that we've been doing you have Hezbollah saying we want to support um the Hamas and the and the Palestinian people but we don't support them if we allow the fighting in the north to escalate in the fullscale war because now we've created a problem bigger than Hamas and we dilute the victories that Hamas is achieving and so there's a lot of pressure for escalation but there's a lot of pressure for deescalation and what you end up with is diverting all of this tension back into Gaza that's why you see pumping water in the tunnels you're going to see an escalation of violence in the short term um but in the long term netanyahu's inability the idf's inability to Prevail in in Gaza is is going to be what decides um the outcome here I don't think this conflict will escalate it's a very dangerous situation so it could escalate but literally everybody involved doesn't want escalation because they understand the consequences of escalation it would be devastating for everybody involved especially Israel which could be facing Strat iic defeat not just political defeat but strategic defeat for the history what seems to be happening to the Israeli propaganda machine that was so slick so good uh so effective over the last I don't know 10 15 years uh what happen what's changed this time I think Israel is confronted with the reality of um their failures their you know they were so close so close to getting strategic Victory what I mean by that is the Abrams Accords that had been uh negotiated and put in place by Donald Trump um had basically radically transformed the entire region for the Abrams Accord basically was the the death nail of a Palestinian statehood uh put the Palestinian body in a coffin they were nailing the coffin shut and they had the whole Thug they were just going to put the body in the hole um it uh in its place uh Israel was starting to normalize relations with the gulf Arab states they had already normalized relations with Excuse me Bahrain with the United Arab Emirates and they were on the cusp of normalizing relations with Saudi Arabia and that they basically that was it look Joe Biden in uh when he was at the G20 Summit in said here's the vision of the future the Indian Middle East economic Corridor and you know he said look we're going to be able to put cargo ships uh cargo containers on a ship in Mumbai and ship it into you know Dubai and they were going to put it on a train in the United Arab Emirates and that train is g to Transit into Saudi Arabia into Jordan across into Israel imagine that a train going from the United Arab Emirates through Saudi Arabia Jordan into Israel where those Goods will be put on another ship and sent into a port in Greece and now you have connectivity from India to Europe this great thing where Israel is a Lynch pin it wasn't just Joe Biden's you know fanciful imagination Benjamin Netanyahu himself when he addressed the general assembly in September bragged about the same thing he said this is the new reality Israel now is a major economic player on the world stage that's where everybody was going that's what everybody was focused on and by focusing on that it would Empower this farri Coalition who would if this all succeeded be seen as you know Reviving The Israeli economic engine diverting public attention away from you know Benjamin nahu rewriting basic law so that he couldn't be prosecuted for corruption charges nobody wanted to talk about that uh they're all going to talk about this wonderful economic Prosperity all changed on October 7th that Corridor is dead nobody's talking about about it Saudi Arabia is not going to normalize relations with Israel right now not without a Palestinian State everybody's talking about a Palestinian State you know and this is this is the reality that the the the world has fundamentally changed uh for Israel um it's it's literally it's it's game over for Israel um and this is this is the new reality that the world is waking up to that uh you know Israel as it currently exists is incompatible with International values International norms and standards even the United States who's vetoing these ceasefire resolutions um recognizes that Benjamin Netanyahu has got to go that this ruling Coalition cannot stay in power uh Biden himself has said that there will be a Palestinian State there will be a Palestinian State um which means that anything Ben Benjamin nety is hoping for is now irrel because Israel can't do anything without American support that's the other reality here that Israel can't survive without America and I think what we're seeing right now is to politically Empower our leaders so that we aren't blindly supporting Israel even you know pro-israeli Lobby like APAC is starting to cringe at what Netanyahu is saying because with APAC remember everything's about money and power and what apac's seen is that Netanyahu the world is turning against Israel which means inside the United States there is now going to be a turn against Israel and this means that the ability of APAC to run around and spend a hundred million dolls to buy the US Congress may be over because people instead of identifying with Israel as a friend and an ally are St starting now to look at Israel as an outlier um as um uh an an impediment to America is a detrimental to America and so we can be seeing the grip that the Israeli Lobby had on American politics start to loosen release my next uh question is uh do you think that uh we could see another surprise attack from Hamas in in Israel or is it too much uh security and high alert and that would never happen I don't think we're going to see an attack in the near future that um that replicates what happened on October 7th um not from Hamas I think if Hezbollah gets involved um what they're going to do is going to shock the world it's going to take what Hamas did on October 7th and magnify by several orders of magnitude and the uh absolute destruction and defeat of the Israeli Defense Force along the uh along its northern border Lebanon will blow everybody's mind hezb has been preparing for this fight for decades they know the Israelis very well well they know the area very well Israel has put so many of its resources in the Gaza is not really really much left that can go up north um you know Hezbollah has 80 90 100,000 Fighters many of whom are combat hardened from the fighting in Syria uh these guys are really really good they have a plan um and uh I think that's where we could see the surprise if this thing escalates hamas's surprise right now now is just its resilience its ability to survive everything um you know I think it's um underappreciated in the world what Hamas is doing right right right now to continue this fight it's remarkable logistically operationally tactically um you know but it's not getting the credit on October 7th because it was all in our face um you know the the the you know we're like wow look what Hamas did but because everything that Hamas is doing right now is underground literally and um Beyond sight we we we don't understand what they're doing but anybody who has a monum of appreciation for the complexity of this operation uh has to be in awe with what Hamas is pulling off militarily right now because is as sophisticated as the day is long we're seeing a lot of headlines though uh and as well as a lot of uh Hamas being dragged out in front of the cameras uh you know pretty much stripped down uh being searched I mean is that just uh Israel's propaganda machine running in high drive and to add to that um if Hezbollah does come in I mean
